Jumping and grooming
Jumping less high, hesitating on stairs, a stiff posture or an unkempt coat can indicate discomfort. Have the cause assessed before choosing support.
Specifically formulated for cats
Through a special production process, we make Gold for cats without terpenes. We use this formulation in exactly two variants: CBD with wild Alaskan salmon oil and CBD with organic C8-MCT. Both are available in 125, 250 and 500 mg CBD.
Through a special production process, we make Gold for cats without terpenes. We use this formulation in both cat variants: CBD with wild Alaskan salmon oil and CBD with organic C8-MCT. That compound formula is something different than just CBD isolate. It does not contain any terpenes and is used in the cat variants with wild Alaskan salmon oil and organic C8-MCT oil.
Formulated into special Gold, without terpenes
Wild-caught Alaska salmon as carrier oil. The composition also contains vitamin E.
About Wild Alaska Salmon Oil →100% pure C8 from organic coconuts. Grade A, GMO-free and solvent-free.
About organic C8-MCT →Both cat variants contain special Gold without terpenes. Always choose the product that is explicitly intended for cats.
Why separate?
Cats process various plant substances differently than dogs. Moreover, they often show discomfort late or very subtly. That is why a cat product should not start with convenience for the seller, but with the composition and behavior of the cat.
Our CBD oil for cats is available in two variants: wild Alaskan salmon oil and 100% pure organic C8-MCT oil. Through a special production process, we make Gold for cats without terpenes. We use this formulation in both cat variants: CBD with wild Alaskan salmon oil and CBD with organic C8-MCT. There is no separate Gold product line for cats. For a cat, use a product that is explicitly intended for cats.

Read cat behavior
Jumping less high, hesitating on stairs, a stiff posture or an unkempt coat can indicate discomfort. Have the cause assessed before choosing support.
Hiding more, lunging more quickly, restlessness at night or urinating outside the box can indicate stress, but also pain or illness. Behavior is never automatically a CBD question.
A cat that does not eat can quickly become seriously ill. In case of loss of appetite, vomiting, drowsiness or abnormal drinking, do not wait but contact a veterinarian.
Science in progress
Positive findings deserve a clear place. Below you can read what was studied, which outcomes were found and what they mean for an informed choice.
CAT · 2025
A Dutch study published in 2025 found improved pain scores with a CBD/CBDA paste in cats with osteoarthritis. Fourteen of 26 cats completed the study. Most withdrawals were due to refusal of the paste; vomiting was sometimes reported.

In 22 cats with chronic gingivostomatitis, CBD was studied alongside dental extractions and existing care. The disease activity score improved with CBD. The study supports further research into additional treatment; it does not establish a standalone cure.

A controlled study found no significant difference in behaviour or stress measures after one CBD dose during travel and exposure to an unfamiliar environment. An effect cannot therefore be promised for every situation. This finding concerns this dose, formulation and test.

In healthy cats, a THC-free CBD distillate was absorbed into the blood and was well tolerated over 26 weeks under the tested conditions. Abnormal liver values and withdrawals also occurred in the research programme. This provides useful safety information, but no guarantee for every cat.
Read the study ↗These studies concern the products used in each trial. They are not clinical product tests of our oils. Formulation, amount and species matter. Discuss use alongside illness or medication with your veterinarian; do not change existing treatment yourself.
Experience use by owners
Cat owners mainly mention stress and pain, but also other long-term complaints. This overview describes use by owners and is not a statement that CBD treats a condition.
We work together with veterinarians. Customers also regularly tell us that they come to us after consultation or referral by a veterinarian. We always refer to the attending veterinarian for medical assessment and treatment.
Have the cause investigated. Licking, not eating, suddenly changing behavior, pain or seizures may indicate a medical problem. Positive experiences do not prove that CBD treats the cause. Only use a cat product and never change medication without consulting your vet.
ECS and composition
Cats also have an endocannabinoid system. This makes interaction between cannabinoids and other plant components biologically conceivable, but the entourage effect has not been convincingly demonstrated specifically in cats.
The composition for a cat must therefore outweigh a general claim about full-spectrum. Our cat line is deliberately formulated without terpenes. Do not use the Gold formula for dogs as evidence that the same profile is desirable for cats.
Read the scientific nuance →Gentle administration
Cats are sensitive to smell, taste and changes in routine. Therefore, preferably mix the measured oil with a very small amount of familiar, suitable and preferably some fat-containing wet food that is eaten completely.
Do not eat the entire meal straight away. If the cat refuses the snack, the oil can be given directly into the mouth.
New behavior, weight loss, eating less or changed toilet behavior first requires research.
Check the label, full ingredients and absence of terpenes in our cat line.
125, 250 and 500 mg are total amounts per bottle. Don't automatically choose the highest number.
Record appetite, sleeping, jumping, grooming, litter box use and contact with people and animals.

Yes. Preferably use a small amount of suitable, familiar and preferably some fat-containing food that the cat will eat completely. Directly into the mouth is possible if the cat refuses the snack.
In case of not eating, pain signals, suddenly different behavior, problems with urination, shortness of breath, seizures, illness or medication. A cat can hide complaints for a long time.
